On 24 May we will be at a conference. The warehouse in Stockholm will be closed. Borlänge and Gothenburg open as usual.

We are pleased to welcome Niklas Bergman as the new head of Ibeco Rental. With extensive experience in water issues, organisation and business development, Niklas takes the step from previous roles as managing director and production manager. Going forward, the focus is firmly on growth and development – of the rental offering, the depots and the employees
He is the technology enthusiast with a feel for organisational and business development. With a passion for people's wellbeing and technology, Niklas looks forward to his new role and brings many years of relevant experience with him. Niklas has worked in the water and pump sector since 2013, has been involved in hydropower and environmental issues, and has also worked in the steel industry for many years. The common thread throughout his career is leadership and the development of people. Now that Ibeco Rental is set to scale up, these skills will come in very useful. I'm passionate about people's wellbeing within the organisation – I get motivated by building a strong organisation where people feel good, have good benefits and everyone is involved. After years at two of the sister companies within Uniwater, Dala Kommunalteknik and Norvatek, Niklas has a solid grasp of flow calculations and pressure for reliable water and wastewater installations.
The technology is very similar whether it concerns pumps or hydropower plants. I've also always had a strong interest in technology. I love taking things apart and learning something new, whether it's gadgets or computer programming.

Rising demand for circular offerings is driving growth and innovation
Niklas Bergman will lead the development of Ibeco Rental, part of Ibeco's core business. Ibeco offers direct sales of products for water infrastructure, equipment rental and rental in contract form. Renting rather than owning is an example of circular practice, contributing to reduced resource use and lower climate impact. Demand is increasing, and Ibeco Rental has seen a significant upswing in recent years. The company is continuously expanding its rental range, and in 2023 it had more and longer rental projects than ever before. The growing demand is most noticeable in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Skåne.
Rental of equipment and products - an offering in two parts
First, there is the regular rental of products and equipment for water and wastewater and plumbing, such as machines, pumps and welding containers. Rental of trench shoring, or sheet piling, is an example of a product appreciated by many customers. This product is beneficial both from an environmental perspective and in terms of personal protection. See the image and description below.
The second part of the rental offering, which accounts for the larger share of the business, is rental for specific projects. In this case, Ibeco is involved throughout the entire contract, from calculation, technical solution and installation to service and maintenance throughout the project.
All depots are set to grow
As the rental offering grows, it places demands on the development of the depots in Borlänge, Gothenburg and Stockholm, both in terms of capacity and catchment area, which will also create a need for new recruitment in the coming years. Niklas is looking forward to the “journey”.
Ibeco's products and offering have a large market throughout the Nordic region. With committed employees, we can go as far as we want. It's great fun to be part of a business that is growing, and that has such an exciting journey ahead of it.
