About the product
Fucoli-Somepal gate valves series 3000 are resilient-seated gate valves with flange and pneumatic actuator, intended for isolation in pipe networks. The valve has a short face-to-face length F4 and full bore, giving low pressure loss and allowing the pipeline to be jetted clean. The red-brown NBR version is used for wastewater, whilst the blue EPDM version is suitable for drinking water and neutral liquids. The valve body is cast in ductile iron and the wedge has a fixed stem nut and is fully vulcanised, giving low closing torques. The valve is available in DN 40–300 with flange drilling PN10/16 and an operating temperature of 0–70 °C (frost-free). It is designed according to EN 1074 parts 1 and 2 and EN 1171, fits PE100 PN10 SDR17 pipes and is covered by a 15-year guarantee.
