About the product
Resilient-seated gate valve with flange for pressurised water pipelines, with short face-to-face length F4 and full bore giving low pressure loss and fitting into confined chambers. The valve body is made of ductile iron and the wedge is fully vulcanised, giving a tight shut-off with a closing torque lower than standard. The stem is supplied as standard in acid-resistant stainless steel with rolled threads for high strength, and four stem seals together with a fixed stem nut in dezincification-resistant brass give a long service life. The valve is available in DN 50–DN 300 for PN10/16 and operates between 0 and 70°C, but not in freezing conditions. The blue version is used for drinking water and neutral liquids, the red-brown version for wastewater. Flange drilling to EN 1092-2 allows straightforward connection to existing flanges.
