Soft-seated gate valve from Fucoli-Somepal with flange, short face-to-face length and full bore for low pressure loss in the water main.
About the product
Soft-seated gate valve with flanges for isolation in pressurised water pipelines. The valve has a full bore with no dip at the bottom, giving low pressure loss and preventing debris from collecting in the valve body. The closing torque is lower than standard, and the stem has rolled threads for smooth operation. The valve body is manufactured in ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7. Short face-to-face length to EN 558 simplifies installation in confined chambers and manholes, and the flanges are drilled to EN 1092-2 PN10/16 so the valve connects to common standard flanges. The valve is available in sizes from DN 50 to DN 300 and operates at temperatures between 0 and 70°C, though not in frost conditions.
