About the product
Resilient-seated gate valve for water and wastewater systems, supplied with finished PE ends in PE100 PN10 SDR17 that are welded directly to the existing PE pipe without a separate transition. The valve has full bore, giving low pressure loss and allowing jetting and cleaning through the valve. The wedge is fully vulcanised and sits in a ductile iron body, and the design complies with EN 1074 parts 1 and 2 and EN 1171. Four stem seals and a cam ring that fixes the stem give long service life and low closing torque. The blue version with EPDM is used for drinking water and neutral liquids, the red-brown version with NBR for wastewater, and a gas version is available as a separate item, on request. Working temperature 0-40°C, frost-free, and the valve carries a 15-year warranty.
