About the product
Soft-seated gate valve for water systems, built on a body in ductile iron with a fully vulcanised wedge and full bore. The valve is supplied with fixed PE ends in PE100, PN16, SDR11, which means it is welded directly onto the existing PE pipe without flanges or additional couplings. The version with blue EPDM is suitable for drinking water and neutral liquids, whilst red-brown NBR is used for wastewater; a version for gas is also available on request. The valve is designed to EN 1074 parts 1 and 2 and EN 1171 and is manufactured for DN 40–400 with pipe ends from 63 up to 400 mm outside diameter. The working temperature is 0–40 °C, but not in frost. The stem has rolled threads and four seals, and the number of closing turns and maximum torque are specified per size. The product carries a 15-year warranty.
