About the product
The service valve is used in service pipes where the isolation needs to be made at a 90° angle, with a male thread on the inlet and a female thread on the outlet. The bore is completely free, giving low pressure losses and the possibility of jetting the pipe. The valve is available in DN 25–50 for pressure class PN16 and a working temperature of 0–70 °C (frost-free), and is supplied with a 15-year warranty. The valve is intended for wastewater. The body is cast in ductile iron and the valve has an acid-resistant stainless steel stem with rolled threads and a fully vulcanised disc, giving a low closing torque. The connections are designed as female and male BSP thread to ISO 228-1, with connection R32 or R50 depending on size.
