About the product
Restrained service valve for direct insertion into PE pipe, intended for drinking water and neutral liquids. The valve is available in DN 20–50 for pipes with an outside diameter of 25–63 mm and is rated PN16, with a socket for PE80 and PE100 in accordance with EN 1220. The working temperature is 0–40°C, though without frost, and the valve is supplied with a 15-year guarantee. The body is made of ductile iron with an acid-resistant stem and a fully vulcanised disc, giving a full bore. The pipe is pushed directly into the socket, where double lip seals and a clamping ring lock the joint in a restrained manner, without welding or additional end-load restraint. The valve can also be supplied with a factory-fitted PE pipe.
