About the product
Restrained service valve PN16 for service connections, with a push-fit connection at one end and a male BSP thread at the other. The valve has a fully unobstructed bore and is built in ductile iron with an acid-resistant stainless steel stem and a fully vulcanised obturator, giving low closing torque and long service life. The push-fit connection fits PE pipes in PE80 and PE100 with an outside diameter of 32–63 mm and requires no welding or extra coupling parts; the threaded end connects at R25–R50. The size range is DN 25–50 and the design complies with EN 1074 part 1 and 2. The working temperature is 0–40 °C, i.e. frost-free operation.
