About the product
Soft-seated service valve for service connections in sewer networks, supplied with ready-made PE ends in PE 100 to EN 12201-2 for direct fusion to the PE pipe. The valve has a full bore, a ductile iron valve body and is available in DN 25-40 for pipe sizes from 32 mm. The blue version with EPDM is used for drinking water and neutral liquids, whilst the red-brown version with NBR is intended for wastewater. The disc is fully vulcanised and the stem nut is fixed in dezincification-resistant brass, and a cam ring secures the stem so that the closing torque is kept low. Four stem seals plus double lip seal rings give a long service life, and the recessed bolts are protected with sealing compound. The valve is designed to EN 1074 parts 1 and 2 and EN 1171, and comes with a 15-year warranty.
