11° seamless bends SDR11

11° seamless PE bends are used where a pressurised PE pipeline needs a small change of direction, for example when adjusting the route of water or gas pipelines. The bend is manufactured in PE100 and is seamless, meaning it is formed in one piece without a weld seam in the bend itself. The designation "long" refers to the bend's straight ends, which leave room for the welding equipment. Connection is made either with an electrofusion coupler or by butt fusion directly to pipes and fittings in the same material. The bends are available in pressure classes PN16/SDR11 and PN10/SDR17 and cover a wide size range with pipe outside diameters up to 710 mm, meaning the same bend type can be used in everything from service connections to larger mains.
