30° seamless bends SDR11

The long seamless 30° PE bend is used to change direction in pressurised PE pipelines without the need to cold-bend the pipe. The bend is manufactured in PE100 and is seamless, giving a homogeneous wall throughout the bend. Connection is made either with an electrofusion coupler or by butt fusion to PE pipe, and the straight ends provide sufficient weld length for both methods. The bends are available in PN16/SDR11 and, from size 50 mm upwards, also in PN10/SDR17, so that pressure class and wall thickness can be matched to the connecting pipe. The size range covers pipe outside diameter 32–710 mm, covering everything from service pipes to larger mains. The bends are used in pressure pipelines for water and gas in accordance with EN 12201 and EN 1555.
