60° seamless bends SDR17

Long seamless 60° bends are used for gentle changes of direction in pressurised PE pipelines for water, wastewater and gas. The bends are manufactured in PE100 and have a seamless construction, which gives an even flow with no weld joints in the bend itself. The range covers pipe outside diameters from 32 to 710 mm and is available in pressure classes PN16/SDR11 and PN10/SDR17, with the smallest sizes, 32 and 40 mm, supplied in PN16/SDR11. Connection is made by electrofusion coupler or butt fusion, and the long straight ends give plenty of fusion allowance for alignment and clamping in the fusion machine. The bend radius follows the size and increases with larger pipe sizes, which eases flow and makes the bend suitable even for large mains.
