Tapping adaptors PE

The tapping adaptor is used for tapping under pressure, that is, taking an outlet from an existing water main without having to shut off the supply. The adaptor is fitted onto the pipeline and provides a branch with a PE end that can be fusion welded or connected onward into the pipe network. The version with a PE end is available for 90 and 110 mm connections, and the same series is also available with a flange for those connecting to flanged valves. The adaptor has one end in drinking-water approved PE and is rated for a working pressure of 16 bar, manufactured to EN 545. The tapping itself is carried out using a tapping tool, available as an accessory and selected according to the size required. Thanks to its compact overall height, the adaptor also fits into narrow pipe trenches.
