About the product
The tapping valve is an electrofusion saddle with an integral valve, used to make a branch connection on an existing PE pipe for water or gas. The valve is fused onto the pipe as a toploading saddle, and the tapping is then carried out through the valve, allowing the service connection to be made without having to empty the main. The construction is in PE100RC with pipe class SDR11 and is rated for pressure class PN16 for water and PN10 for gas. The range covers pipes with an outside diameter from 63 to 250 mm and is available with a 32 or 63 mm branch, covering most service connections. Other sizes and other SDR classes can be offered on request.
