Anchor gaskets for single-chamber pipes

The anchor gasket can be used instead of standard gaskets. It uses specially manufactured steel teeth embedded in the gasket. The gasket is installed like a 'normal' gasket. The jointing process is the same as with the standard gasket. Once the joint is made and pressurised, the steel teeth bite into the spigot and restrict its pull-out from the socket. The specially designed gasket performs the dual function of watertightness and restraint. Not removable. Gaskets are supplied in EPDM or NBR/nitrile depending on the application.
