About the product
The A30 is an automatic air release valve for drinking water and seawater that releases air from pressurised pipe systems. During filling, air is forced out through the kinetic orifice, and the float only closes once water reaches the valve. In operation, the automatic seal opens and releases air that has accumulated at the top of the valve. During draining, the orifice is held open so that air is let in and vacuum in the pipe is prevented. The valve operates between 0.1 and 16 bar at up to 60°C and seals dynamically even at low pressure. The body is made of glass-fibre reinforced nylon. Connection is made via a male thread, and a female thread in the outlet accepts a drain pipe or valve. Available in DN20 and DN25.
