Bermad automatic air release valves C30

The automatic air release valve C30 is a double-acting air valve for drinking water and seawater. During filling of the pipeline, large volumes of air are forced out through the kinetic orifice, and when the water reaches the valve chamber, the float rises and closes it. During pressurised operation, the automatic seal opens and releases accumulated air, and during draining the kinetic orifice remains open so that air enters and vacuum formation in the pipe is prevented. The valve is constructed from glass-fibre reinforced nylon, operates at 0.1–16 bar and 1–60 °C and is available in DN20–DN80 with male thread or flange. A female thread at the outlet allows accessories such as a pressure equalisation valve, non-return valve or outlet extension to be fitted. Can be supplied with a service port for function testing or for a pressure gauge.
