About the product
C70 is a dual-action air valve for drinking water that both releases and admits air. While the pipeline is being filled, large volumes of air are forced out through the kinetic orifice, and when the water reaches the valve the float rises and closes it. During pressurised operation, the automatic seal releases air that has accumulated in the upper part of the valve, and during draining the kinetic orifice opens to admit air and prevent a vacuum in the pipe. The valve is built around a ductile iron body and is available in DN 50–200 with flange or female thread, and with three optional outlet positions A, B or C. The working pressure is 0.1–16 bar and the working temperature is 1–60 °C. Can be supplied with a service port for function testing or a pressure gauge; standard is without a service port.
