Bermad C80 automatic air release valves

This double-acting air release valve is used in pressurised systems for wastewater and raw water. When the pipeline is being filled, it evacuates large volumes of air; during operation it continuously vents accumulated air; and when draining, it admits air so that vacuum and negative pressure are avoided. The aerodynamic design with a kinetic float prevents premature closure, and the dynamic seal holds tight even at low pressure. The valve is built around a ductile iron body and operates within 0.05–10 bar at 1–60 °C. It is installed in an upright position at high points on the pipeline in a flanged design, in sizes from DN 80 to DN 100. Service ports for function testing, backwashing and draining are available as options, and the design requires minimal maintenance.
