About the product
The shut-off spade belongs to the Fucoli-Somepal tapping nipples and is used when a tapping is to be made under pressure. The tapping nipple is fitted to a tapping saddle or a repair clamp, and the spade provides isolation at the outlet so that the work can be carried out with the pipeline in service. The spade fits outlets from 1/2" to 2", corresponding to the nipples' female thread connections G15–G50 with saddle connection male R50.
