About the product
The non-return valve is used in gravity systems for wastewater and stormwater and protects houses, cellars and other low-lying spaces against backflow when the pressure in the sewer network rises. The double-flap design gives an extra level of security: the flaps allow normal outflow, close automatically in the event of backflow and return to normal function once the backflow has ceased. The valve has a socket/spigot end in sizes DN 100–160 mm and a body in PVC-U. It is installed horizontally in the pipeline, and the base can be used as support during installation. The arrow on the bonnet and in the valve body shows the direction of flow. An emergency handle shuts off the flow completely when needed, and the bonnet is released by hand using the levers so that the flaps can be inspected and cleaned without tools.
