The surface box lid is used as a replacement or supplementary lid for round and square valve surface boxes in the ground. The lid is manufactured in ductile iron and therefore withstands the stresses that occur in street and ground environments. The range includes round lids marked V for water, A for wastewater and FK for district cooling, as well as a square lid marked A for wastewater, so that the correct media can be identified directly on site. The lids belong to the same system as the valve surface boxes, which fit all IBECO extension spindle sets and also sets from other makes. During installation the lid is placed in the surface box frame and can easily be lifted off for inspection, jetting or operation of the valve.
