A blank flange is used to seal off a flange opening in pressurised pipe systems, for example at the end of a pipeline, on a branch connection, or as preparation for future extension. The range covers sizes from DN40 up to DN1200 with flange drilling PN10 and PN10/16. The smaller sizes withstand a working pressure of 16 bar up to and including DN150, whilst the larger sizes are intended for 10 bar. The flange is a cast component in ductile iron with an epoxy-coated surface. It is installed with a gasket and bolts matching the flange drilling's hole pattern and number of holes, from four holes in the smallest sizes to 32 holes in the largest. The version with a threaded outlet G50 provides a connection point that can be plugged with a plug with 2 inch male thread.
