BlueSeal spacer rings, blue

The spacer ring is part of the BlueSeal restrained compression couplings and is used in PE pressurised water systems. It is available for pipe sizes 16 to 110 mm and forms part of a system rated for a working pressure of 16 bar. The ring is a component in POM and is positioned between the seal and the grip ring inside the coupling, as part of the pre-lubricated sealing system with a pre-lubricated double lip seal. It is available in black and blue versions and is ordered as a spare part or when servicing existing couplings. During installation, the pipe end is chamfered and cleaned, the nut is unscrewed to the outermost thread, and the pipe is turned in to the pipe stop before the nut is tightened.
