About the product
The bend 90° is used to change direction in flanged pressure pipelines for water and is available in sizes from DN 40 up to DN 1000. The bend is a ductile iron pipe fitting, designed to EN 545:2006 with flanges drilled to DIN EN 1092-2 so that it fits valves, pumps and other flanged pipe fittings. The face-to-face length increases with size, from around 140 mm in the smallest sizes to 1100 mm in the largest. Installation is made easier by the rotatable flanges: they are turned into the correct position so that the bolt holes line up with the mating flange without the pipeline needing to be twisted or realigned. From DN 700 and upwards, the bend is supplied with fixed flanges. The standard version has flange drilling PN 10 with a working pressure of 10 bar, and all pipe fittings can be ordered for PN10/16/25 and in other sizes on request.
