About the product
The diamond hole saw is used for tapping into pipes and fittings made of ductile iron and steel, for example when an existing main is to be fitted with a new outlet or branch connection. The diamond coating is designed specifically for these hard, tough materials. The hole saw is available in several sizes, from 57 mm up to 140 mm, allowing you to select the hole diameter to suit the tapping fitting to be installed. A centre drill is included and is used to guide the saw and hold it in place at the start of drilling, so that the hole ends up in the right position. If larger holes or more extensive tapping work are required, larger tapping equipment can be supplied on request.
