The double surface box is used where two valves are located close together and need to be accessed from the same point at ground level. It has a round lid marked V for water and a square lid marked A for wastewater, so the correct line can be identified directly during operation or excavation. The surface box is manufactured in ductile iron and fits all IBECO valve extension spindle sets, but also works with extension spindle sets from other manufacturers. The lids are fitted with an O-ring, which keeps dirt and surface water away from the top of the extension spindle set, and the surface box is supplied with a water-based primer coating. As a complement, loose lids marked V for water, A for wastewater and FK for district cooling are available, in both round and square designs.
