DUO loose flanges, composite, split

DUO loose flanges are split flanges made of composite, used when a pipe is to be connected in a flanged joint, for example to a coupling, valve or end cap. As the flange is split into two halves, it can be fitted around the pipe on site and bolted together, without having to be threaded over the pipe end first. This makes them useful both for new installations and for alteration or repair work on an existing pipeline. The range covers DN 80 to DN 200 for pipes with an outside diameter from approximately 90 up to 200 mm, with flange drilling PN10/16 in the smaller sizes and PN10 in the largest. The working pressure is up to 16 bar, and 10 bar in the largest size. Bolting is carried out with eight bolts per flange, M16 or M20 depending on size.
