About the product
Electrofusion end caps are used to seal off a PE pipeline, in both water pipelines and gas pipelines. The cap is manufactured in PE100RC in SDR11 and is used for water up to PN16 and gas up to PN10. The range covers pipe sizes from 20 to 500 mm, and other sizes and other SDR classes are available on request. The welding wires are integrated into the cap, which means it is welded directly onto the pipe end without any loose parts. Each cap has a unique ID number and a barcode that is scanned into the welding machine for correct welding parameters and for traceability of the weld carried out. On sizes 20–280 mm the centre stop can be removed, allowing the pipe to be inserted deeper into the cap.
