About the product
The electrofusion tee is used to take a branch off PE pipelines for water and gas. The branch has a spigot end and the fitting is welded to the pipeline by electrofusion, with the heating wires integrated into the body. Each fitting has a unique ID number and a barcode that is read into the welding machine, so that the correct welding parameters are used and the weld can be traced afterwards. On sizes 20–280 mm, the centre stop can be removed. The fittings are manufactured in PE100RC and supplied in SDR11 for water PN16 and gas PN10, in sizes from 20 mm up to 500 mm. In addition to equal tees, reducing versions are available where the branch is smaller than the main run, for example 315/110 mm.
