About the product
Electrofusion couplers are used to join PE pipes in pressurised water and gas pipelines. The couplers are manufactured from PE100-RC and supplied in SDR11 for water PN16 and gas PN10. The range covers pipe sizes from 20 mm to 630 mm outside diameter, with coupler lengths between 84 and 400 mm. Welding can be carried out with all common electrofusion machines on the market. Each coupler has integrated heating coils as well as a unique ID number and barcode, which are scanned for welding parameters and traceability. In sizes 20–280 mm the centre stop can be removed, whilst couplers from 315 mm are supplied without a centre stop. The largest sizes, 450–630 mm, have lifting handles that make handling easier on site.
