Electrofusion couplers SDR17

Electrofusion coupler for joining PE pipes in pressurised systems for water and gas. The coupler is manufactured in PE100RC and the SDR17 design handles water PN10 and gas PN5, making it suitable for both drinking water pipelines and gas networks. The SDR17 range covers pipe sizes from 110 up to 630 mm. Welding is carried out by electrofusion thanks to welding wires integrated into the inside of the coupler, and each coupler has a unique ID number with barcode so that the welding parameters can be read into the welding machine and the joint can be traced afterwards. Couplers up to and including 280 mm have a centre stop that can be removed if required, whilst larger sizes are supplied without a centre stop and, from 450 mm, with a lifting handle that makes handling on site easier.
