About the product
Electrofusion reducers are used to join PE pipes with different outside diameters in pressurised systems for water and gas. The parts are manufactured from PE100RC and supplied in SDR11 with pressure class PN16 for water and PN10 for gas. The welding wires are integrated into the material, so the pipe ends are inserted into the reducer and fused in place with an electrofusion machine, without loose heating elements. Each part has a unique ID number and a barcode that is read by the fusion machine, giving the correct fusion parameters and traceability afterwards. The centre stop can be removed on sizes 20–280 mm. The range covers pipe sizes from 25/20 mm up to 250/225 mm, and other sizes and SDR classes are available on request.
