About the product
The electrofusion bend 45° is used to change direction in pressurised PE pipelines for water and gas. The bend is manufactured from PE100RC in SDR11 and is rated PN16 for water and PN10 for gas, making it suitable for both distribution and service pipelines. The range covers pipes from 20 to 500 mm outside diameter. The heating wires are integrated into the socket material and give a homogeneous, fully fused joint once the pipe end has been cleaned, scraped and fixed in place. Each component has a unique ID number with barcode, so the welding parameters can be read directly into the fusion unit and the weld documented afterwards. On sizes 20–280 mm the centre stop can be removed, which makes installation in existing pipelines easier.
