Electrofusion bends 90°

The electrofusion bend 90° is used for changing direction in pressurised PE pipe systems for water and gas. The bend is manufactured in PE100RC and supplied in SDR11, with a duty class of PN16 for water and PN10 for gas. The range covers pipe outside diameters from 20 mm up to 500 mm, so the same welding method can be used from service pipe to larger distribution mains. The welding wires are integrated into the socket material, and the bend is welded onto the pipe ends using electrofusion equipment. Each component has a unique ID number and barcode, so welding parameters can be read directly into the welding machine and the weld can be traced afterwards. In sizes 20–280 mm, the centre stop can be removed, which makes installation in existing pipelines easier. Other sizes and SDR classes can be offered on request.
