About the product

The flange gasket seals flanged joints in plastic systems and is intended for flanges in PE, PP, PVC and PVDF with SDR11. It is made of EPDM with a built-in steel insert that absorbs the bolt forces and holds the gasket in place. The hardness is 70 ± 5 Shore A and the working temperature is -25 °C to +120 °C. The range covers DN 25 to DN 630. During installation, the flange surfaces and bolts must be clean and undamaged, and the bolts must be lubricated. Tighten the bolts crosswise in three steps, 30% / 40% / 30%, using a torque wrench, finishing with a full circle at full torque. When connecting against PE, a lower torque should be used than for steel against steel. Installation: Ensure that all surfaces are clean and undamaged (flange surfaces and bolts). Use a suitable lubricant on the bolts. Tightening instructions: Tighten the bolts crosswise in three steps: 30% / 40% / 30% according to the recommended tightening pattern. Use a torque wrench.
