About the product

The flange gasket seals flanged joints in plastic systems and is intended for PE, PP, PVC and PVDF flanges with SDR11. It is made of NBR with a built-in steel insert that takes up the bolt loads and holds the gasket in place. The hardness is 70 ± 5 Shore A and the working temperature is -25 °C to +120 °C. The range covers DN 25 to DN 630. When installing, flange faces and bolts must be clean and undamaged, and the bolts must be lubricated. Tighten the bolts crosswise in three steps, 30% / 40% / 30%, using a torque wrench, and finish with a full circle at full torque. When connecting to PE, a lower torque than for steel against steel should be used. Installation: Make sure all surfaces are clean and undamaged (flange faces and bolts). Use a suitable lubricant on the bolts. Tightening instructions: Tighten the bolts crosswise in three steps: 30% / 40% / 30% according to the recommended tightening pattern. Use a torque wrench. DN 450 = 65 Nm interpolated; DN > 600 = 100 Nm as an extended guideline value. - The DVS values apply to PE flanges. Always follow the gasket manufacturer's specific instructions if they differ from the table
