About the product

Flange gasket with steel insert designed for plastic flanges in SDR17 design, for example flanges in PE, PP, PVC and PVDF. The gasket is made from NBR with a steel insert that controls how much the rubber is compressed, giving an even and controlled seal in the joint. The hardness is 70 ± 5 Shore A and the working temperature ranges from -25°C to +120°C. The range covers sizes from DN 50 up to DN 630. When installing, flange surfaces and bolts must be clean and undamaged, and the bolts should be lubricated with a suitable lubricant. The bolts are tightened crosswise in three steps according to the pattern 30% / 40% / 30% using a torque wrench, and tightening is finished with a full circle at full torque. Installation: Make sure all surfaces are clean and undamaged (flange surfaces and bolts). Use a suitable lubricant on the bolts. Tightening instructions: Tighten the bolts crosswise in three steps: 30% / 40% / 30% according to the recommended tightening pattern. Use a torque wrench. Finish with a full circle at full torque.
