Go to old websiteDN300 raising ring with straight edge in recycled plastic that raises existing concrete manholes and adapts to uneven or sloping surfaces.
Raising rings DN300 with straight edge are mainly used to raise existing fixed manholes during new installations and renovation works. The rings are made of recycled plastic and adapt to any uneven or sloping concrete surfaces, which extends the service life of the whole manhole construction. The design means they can be used together with other types of raising rings, and they withstand loads of up to 80 tonnes. During installation, the contact surface is cleaned before a new ring is fitted, and the rings are available in several thicknesses to achieve the desired height. If a sealed joint between the rings is required, the groove on the top and underside is sealed with an oil-resistant jointing compound. Finish off with an asphalt seal or a thin levelling ring. The rings are impact resistant even in sub-zero temperatures and can be reused over and over again. Note that the manhole cover frame must not rest on the rebate edge. Use a levelling ring here to equalise the pressure. This also applies when the old model is placed on top of the new type of raising ring with a rebate.
