Raising rings DN800 are mainly used to raise existing fixed manholes during new installations or renovation works. They are available in a wide range of heights and also as an angled version. The rings are manufactured from recycled plastic, which allows them to adapt to uneven or sloping concrete surfaces and extends the service life of the entire manhole structure. The rebate means the rings cannot shift relative to each other during transport, installation or after many years in service, and makes fitting easier. The design allows the rings to be combined with other types of raising rings. Clean the contact surface before fitting a new ring and finish with an asphalt seal or a thin levelling ring. The sealing groove on the top and bottom can be filled with an oil-resistant jointing compound if complete watertightness is required. Note that the manhole cover frame must not rest on the rebate edge. Use a levelling ring here to equalise the load. This also applies when the old model is placed on top of the new type of raising ring with a rebate.
