About the product
The duckfoot bend 90° is used in pressurised water pipelines where the pipeline needs to change direction by 90 degrees whilst also being supported against the substrate. The foot provides a flat bearing surface against the substrate, and the rotatable flanges allow the bolt holes to be turned into position on site in the trench without the whole fitting needing to be realigned. This also makes it easier to connect to existing flanges where the bolt holes are not aligned. The fitting is cast in ductile iron with epoxy corrosion protection and is designed according to EN 545:2006 with flanges drilled according to DIN EN 1092-2. Sizes range from DN40 to DN600, and all fittings can be ordered for PN10, PN16 or PN25. Other sizes are produced on request.
