Fucoli GFIX restrained pipe couplings, wastewater

GFIX restrained pipe couplings are a universal coupling for all pipe materials, joining pipes of different materials and outside diameters, for example PE, PVC and PVC-O. The coupling is available in DN 40–400 for PN10/16, and the wide span means the same coupling covers several pipe outside diameters. The GFIX grip system makes the coupling restrained and easy to install, and allows deflection of up to ±4° per side. The working temperature is 0 °C to +70 °C (not frost-resistant). The body is in ductile iron and the seal is designed with many sealing surfaces for a secure installation. During installation, the pipe contact surfaces are cleaned, the outside diameter is checked, and the maximum and minimum insertion depths are marked on the pipe. The bolts are then tightened alternately, one to two turns at a time, to the specified torque, 50–120 Nm depending on size.
