About the product
Resilient-seated gate valve with flange for drinking water and neutral liquids in the blue EPDM version, and for wastewater in the reddish-brown NBR version. The valve has a long face-to-face length F5 and full bore without restriction, which gives low pressure losses and allows jetting and cleaning through the valve. The construction is based on a body in ductile iron with a fully vulcanised wedge, four stem seals and a fixed stem nut which, together with the cam ring, give smooth operation and low closing torque. The stem has rolled threads for high strength and the recessed bolts are protected with sealing compound. The valve is installed between flanges to EN 1092-2 PN10/16 and operates at 0–70 °C, but not in frost conditions. Sizes from DN 40 and upwards, with a gas version available on request.
