About the product
The HFIX flange adaptor connects pipes of different materials and outside diameters to a flange, for example pipes of PE, PVC, ductile iron, steel, asbestos cement and glass-fibre reinforced plastic. It is used in drinking water and pipe networks for neutral liquids and is available with flange drilling PN10 or PN16. The HFIX system locks and seals without the pipe needing to be dismantled. The pipe is held in place by hardened, ribbed rivets that grip the pipe without damaging it. The seal is EPDM approved for drinking water. The adaptor withstands an angular deflection of up to 8°. The working pressure is 10 bar as restrained and 16 bar as non-restrained.
