Air valve chambers

IBECO air valve chamber is a compact and service-friendly solution for automated air release in pressurised pipe systems. The design allows operation and maintenance work to be carried out from ground level, eliminating the need for a traditional manhole. The air valve unit is removable for inspection and can be reinstalled under pressure without interrupting operation. All components are made from corrosion-resistant materials, ensuring high reliability and a long service life even in demanding environments. The chamber is based on a 425mm drum and fitted with a DN80 flange connection for easy integration into an existing pipe network or new installations. It is supplied drained and is available in configurations suited to both wastewater and drinking water applications. Supplied complete with a surface box made from recycled material. As an option, the chamber can be fitted with the IBECO Smart pressure and temperature sensor. This unit offers wireless monitoring via a cloud-based platform, with a two-year data subscription included in the starter package. Battery life is up to 10 years under normal operating conditions.
