Long PE transitions to female thread are used to go from PE pipe to a threaded connection in pressurised systems. The PE end is jointed by electrofusion coupler or butt fusion, and the generous length gives plenty of room for both the fusion sleeve and the butt fusion machine without exposing the brass thread part to heat. The thread side has a female thread to EN 10226-1, giving a secure transition to valves, meters and other threaded equipment. The transitions are made from PE100RC with a brass thread part and are rated for PN16 with pipe wall thickness SDR11. The range covers pipe sizes from 20 to 125 mm pipe OD with female threads from G15 to G100, and for 40 mm pipe there are two thread options to choose from.
