About the product
The surface of PE pipe oxidises on exposure to air, which impairs weldability. Scraping off the outer layer before welding is therefore essential. Mechanical rotary scrapers give an even and controlled removal of the surface, unlike manual scraping, and ensure that the right amount of material is removed, not too much and not too little. The tools are designed for PE pipe in SDR11 and can be driven with a drill or used for manual scraping. They are available for sizes 20–63 mm and are also supplied as a complete kit in a case. The blade is a loose fitting and can be replaced separately. For branch connections, scraping tools are available that adapt to shape and size.
