INSITU cuff with mounting strap is used for tapping on double-walled plastic pipes and manholes. It is used in the same way as a standard tapping cuff, but is designed for double-walled plastic constructions where the outer wall requires its own sealing solution. The cuff is made of SBR rubber and is pressed into the drilled hole, where a built-in stop prevents it from being pushed too far into the main or the manhole. The result is a stable, tight branch connection. It has a mounting strap, which further locks the cuff against the pipe wall. The cuffs are available in several lengths and for different hole diameters, and can handle wall thicknesses of up to 65 mm, covering common double-walled plastic pipes and plastic manholes.
