Installation tool FOXGRIP

Installation tool FOXGRIP is used for electrofusion of toploading saddles on PE pipes and holds the saddle in place throughout the fusion process. Each tool is designed for a specific pipe diameter, giving a perfect fit of the saddle to the curvature of the pipe and even pressure around the entire circumference of the saddle - a prerequisite for a tight and durable fusion joint. The tools cover pipe diameters from 355 to 900 mm and are available in versions suited to different saddle sizes, including an L version used for installing toploading saddles with a 225 branch. During installation, the tool is placed over the saddle and clamped onto the pipe, pressing the saddle against the pipe surface whilst fusion is carried out and the material cools.
